DAMS spent its first 8 years competing in the F3000 championship, the last step before Formula 1. From 1997 onwards, the team has entered other categories and has since participated then in the racing 24 hours of Le Mans, FIA GT, Le Mans Series, Sports Racing World Cup, Formula Renault V6, World Series by Renault, GP2 Series, A1GP, Formula BMW Europe and Formula Le Mans.

After 20 years of activity in single seater championships and endurance racing, DAMS now enjoys a solid experience. The team has won three international F3000 championships, one FRV6 championship and two World Cups out of four A1GP seasons. Recently, DAMS won the GP2 Asia Series championship.
